Snow-covered woods, hot chocolate, s'mores, roaring fireplaces and snowshoing
are all available at YMCA Camp Manitou-Lin's Snowshoe Shuffle; the best
of what winter in Michigan has to offer all in one place! If you are looking to work
off a few holiday dinners, enjoy snowshoeing through beautiful West Michigan or
simply want to try something new and fun for the entire family, then the Snowshoe
Shuffle is for you. Snowshoeing is a zero learning curve activity so come one and
all for a day of outdoor winter fun!

Located on the grounds of beautiful YMCA Camp Manitou-Lin, this 5K
snowshoe race winds through 200 plus acres of pristine winter woodlands.
First time snowshoers, experts and athletes of all ages will are welcome to
experience the fulfillment that can only be associated with athletic
achievement. The mostly flat 5 kilometer course provides the perfect
degree of difficulty for anyone looking to fulfill their desire for outdoor
activity in the middle of winter.

After the race, athletes are welcome to enjoy hot coco, s'mores and other
post-race refreshments in the warm and friendly confines of Camp Manitoulin’s
lodge. Awards will be presented to top male and female participants.

No snow on the ground?  No worries!  Just bring your running shoes and
prepare for a one-of-a-kind trail running experience.

YMCA camp Manitou-Lin has a limited number beginner snow shoes available
so bring your own.  However, if you are interested in renting quality
snowshoes for this event, please view the Snowshoe Rental tab above.
